"Khamid Boronov asks, "what have I done for my people?" I think he has already done a great deal in preserving their stories and something of the local culture. Well done."

Note
The film is an excellent addition to a visual art collection of a library or museum . The award-winning feature documentary helps us to understand the issues of rise of uncompromising nationalism, discrimination of minorities, Islamic radicalism and the border issues in post-Soviet Central Asia through the stories of two village women – “collateral” victims of a bombing during the civil war in Tajikistan.
